Case Study: Jucy Rentals
The merger of StarRV and JUCY aimed to create an engaging retail customer experience that embodies adventure. At 9 Richard Pearce Drive, Māngere, we designed distinct zones within an open-plan layout to reflect their unique brands. The vibrant JUCY zone features playful green and purple accents, log stools, and a games table, fostering a fun, outdoor atmosphere. In contrast, the elegant StarRV zone offers cozy seating and bookcase wallpaper for a lounge feel. Amenities like a luggage area and kitchen enhance the overall experience, ensuring a seamless blend of StarRV and JUCY branding in workplace and retail design.
"To start, the space was a derelict carpark — however with the vision and experience of Laura she came up with some awesome concepts, helping us with space maps as well as furniture options. During the 9 months we worked alongside Laura she became part of the JUCY family. Management were pleased with the result of Laura's dedicated work — we'd definitely recommend her to others looking for a designer with solid experience and awesome ideas."

Built on Sustainability
42% of every Pocketspace project is targeted to be specified with sustainable products — from prioritising reuse and retention of existing partitions, ceilings and flooring, to sourcing low-carbon materials and certified furniture. If ESG or landlord sustainability funding matters to your project, we build that into the brief from day one.

It depends on your budget — as designers, we work backwards to show you what your budget can achieve. For a full fitout, budget around $1,500 per square metre as a benchmark. Tell us what you've got to spend and we'll show you what it gets you.

If we're modifying services significantly — HVAC, fire — then yes. Most projects pass with an exemption or don't require consent at all; we'll clarify this for your specific space.
