The brief from The Range 24/7 wasn't really about golf. It was about time, and who gets left out when a passion only exists in daylight hours. Their mission is to make golf accessible whenever life allows it, for the shift worker finishing at 2am, the parent stealing an hour after bedtime, the exec rehearsing tomorrow's round at midnight.

That meant the space itself couldn't behave like a typical sports facility. It needed to feel considered at 2am and at 2pm, calm enough for solo practice, social enough for a competitive night with mates, and premium enough to hold its own. We designed around that flexibility, using lighting, zoning and material choices that let the same space become a private escape, a social hub, or a serious training ground depending on what someone walks in needing. Contrasting colours, hand selected macrocarpa barleaners and the simulator construction all feed into this design execution.

The result is a facility that doesn't just remove the barrier of daylight. It removes the feeling that golf has to happen on someone else's schedule.
