Index Eyewear Retail Design

We collaborated with Index Eyewear to create their new retail space in the heart of Havelock, Hawke’s Bay. With a keen focus on showcasing their boutique eyewear collections, the design was crafted to elevate the customer experience while meeting the brands unique needs for display, functionality and aesthetic appeal.

A key element of the design that we incorporated is the soft curve motif that flows seamlessly throughout the space. From the custom tiled, curved reception desk to the custom sculptural centre display unit and gently rounded mirrors throughout. Each element was thoughtfully designed for this specific space to enhance both the customer joinery and the employee workflow.

We worked with the team at Gartshores to turn every one of our joinery elevations into the real life pieces in store, ensuring that every joinery unit, from eyewear displays to the reception area, was tailored to suit the brand’s vision.

The space is light and inviting, with a palette of whites, warm wood tones and a pop of duck egg blue. This colour scheme allows the frames to take centre stage, while the design encourages a comfortable and luxurious shopping experience.
