Our client first approached Pocketspace when he acquired a new apartment in Auckland CBD and wanted to add his own stamp to the space. The client requested a New York loft vibe with brick look wall and a slick monochrome pallet which would create the perfect weekend apartment.

We invested in luxury linen from Seneca, Kip & Co and Penny & Bennett to create a luxurious and restful space for our client to come home to. The concrete look side tables selected also double as outdoor stools which is ideal for entertaining as they can be taken outside to the balcony.

The dining table is a beautiful 900 diameter marble top with black steal frame, this is paired with black sled base PU leather dining chairs from Soren Liv

To incorporate some of that industrial New York style, we selected a stunning designer light from Tessuti.

Storage was extremely important for our client as the apartment has very limited space. We helped resolved this by selecting a bed which has a generous in-built draw at the end, ideal for shoes or excess bedlinen.

This stunning custom made mirror from Saint Leo hints at the raw New York style with its bare steal frame and welded edges. The finish and weight of this mirror oozes quality and luxury.

The apartment has a small balcony with a beautiful outlook over the harbour. We wanted to provide a place for our client to be able to comfortably lounge outdoors without letting the space feel over crowded with a full sofa or table and chairs. This oversized lounger is the perfect scale for this small space and super comfy!

We installed a full length wall of Muros Wall panels to achieve the New York loft vibe. They add so much texture and personality to the space they were the perfect option for this application.

The entire apartment was re-painted to Resene Quarter Black White to make the space seem overall more bright and modern. The existing beige carpet was also ripped out and replaced with a luxurious loop wool in a grey tone to work with the new monochrome scheme of the apartment. Carpet from Flooring Xtra.
