Our client got in contact with Pocketspace Interiors when they were looking to re-furnish their Grey Lynn Villa. They wanted us to create a space that was smart and slick as well as a relaxing space for them to come home to at the end of the day. The client was completely open to any design styles we put forward, giving us complete freedom to create a space they would love!

For the dining area we selected a sleek Carrara marble dining table with black powder coated trestle style legs. Its simplistic design added a certain lightness and sophistication to the space. Paired with some soft linen look dining chairs and chrome bar trolley, this space functions as a comfortable yet classy entertaining space.

Our client had their hearts set on this cozy sofa from King Living, we helped them to select the fabric and wood stain to ensure it would work with the rest of the space and give them a great colour base for the living area. We accessorised with a bold petrol blue velvet to add some personality to the space and softened with gorgeous cushions and throws from Citta and Thread Design. The coffee table we specified to reference back to the dining table with its smooth Carrara marble and black powder coated base.

Previously the entry way was a bare space, we wanted to create a feature as soon as you entered the home that would just give just a hint of whats to come in the dining and lounge space. The old light fitting was enclosed and didn’t allow much light into the hallway, by swapping this out for a simple glass fitting the hallway feels a light lighter and open. We styled the console with some simplistic pieces and a black rim mirror which references back to the black bases of the dining table, coffee table and console table.

In the front courtyard we added in some bar stools and a bar leaner to make the most of the c patio that was previously empty. In the backyard we specified a new concrete out door dining table with comfortable chairs and a new coffee table for the out door lounge setting.
